Anthony E. Kalikas is a trial attorney with offices in historic Old Town San Diego.  Mr. Kalikas is a native of New York City, New York.  A graduate of St. John's University, Mr. Kalikas received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1986.  After earning his Juris Doctor Degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, Mr. Kalikas was admitted to practice in California in 1991, and immediately went into private practice after his admission to the practice of law.  Mr. Kalikas is admitted to practice before all courts in the State of California, including the United States District Courts  and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 9th and Federal Circuits.

From 1992-1996, Mr. Kalikas served as a member of the executive comittee for the State Bar of California Solo and Small Firm Practice Section.  In 1996, he was elected by the members of the executive committee to serve as chairperson for the section.  In addition, Mr. Kalikas has served on the State Bar of California Council of Section Chairs.  Since 2001, Mr. Kalikas has serveed as an arbitrator for the San Diego County Bar Association.  His civic activities include membership on the Board of Directors of the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (A.H.E.P.A.) an organization which he has been a member of from 1992 and served as President from 1995-98.

Mr. Kalikas also volunteers his time at legal clinics at local community colleges.  In 1999, he was the recipient of the Jack Berman award, which annually recognizes one attorney in the State of California who demonstrates commitment to public service.
