Anthony E. Kalikas is a sole practioner in downtown San Diego. Primarily a trial attorney, Mr. Kalikas’ areas of emphasis include personal injury, insurance bad faith, business disputes and real estate litigation 

     Mr. Kalikas was born in New York City, New York.  He is a graduate of St. John’s University, where he received his B.S. degree in 1986. He earned his Juris Doctor Degree from Thomas Jefferson College of Law, and was admitted to practice in California in 1991.  Mr. Kalikas is admitted to practice before all courts in the State of California, the United States District Court (Central and Southern Districts of California) and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 9th and Federal Circuits. Mr. Kalikas immediately began his career as a private trial attorney after his admission to practice law.

     Mr. Kalikas has served as a member of the State Bar of California Solo and Small Firm Practice Section.  In 1996, he was elected by the members of the executive committee to serve as chairperson of the committee.  In addition, Mr. Kalikas served as a member of the State Bar Council of Section Chairs.  His civic activities include membership on the Board of Directors of the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (A.H.E.P.A.) an organization which he has been a member of from 1992 and service as President from 1995-98. Mr. Kalikas also volunteers his time at legal clinics at local community colleges.  In1999, Mr. Kalikas was the recipient of the Jack Berman award.  This award is given to the one attorney every year in the State of California who demonstrates commitment to public service.
